My favorite fatshion rule to break is horizontal stripes. I love to wear them and always give fatshionable strangers an air-high-five (see also: internal kudos) when I see them breaking the rule that tries to divide abbondamsels (and abbongents) from striped clothing.

I’m still upset that Old Navy won’t let me try clothes on in the store like a straight-sized customer, but I know their sizing and am comfortable ordering trendy basics online.
